*Indicates courses required for graduation from Tyler Junior College with an Associate in Arts degree with the Field of Study in Business Administration. A total of 60 hours must be completed to earn an AA degree. In addition, students must complete the General Graduation Requirements for all Degrees listed in the TJC Catalog. +Courses marked with a plus sign are specific requirements in the Field of Study for Business Administration. As a general rule, these courses will not be substituted. Note: Certain courses in the Field of Study for Business Administration have prerequisites. Please check for course prerequisites in the Tyler Junior College Catalog. Students who do not qualify to begin MATH 1324 during the first semester should take MATH 1314 prior to this semester. The mathematics class in which the student is allowed to enroll is based upon placement test scores or mathematics courses completed in college. **This is a suggested degree plan and students are strongly encouraged to seek advisement for course planning from their academic advisor or faculty advisor. Since senior college requirements differ, Tyler Junior College recommends that all students who plan to transfer check with their senior college regarding transferability of particular classes into degree requirements. The final responsibility for the selection, scheduling, and satisfactory completion of degree or certificate requirements rests with the student.** For more information, contact: Deborah Welch, Instructor/Department Chair, Business Administration Pirtle Technology 332 / dwel@tjc.edu / 903-510-2359
