Apache Orientation Checklist

• Submit a Tyler Junior College Admissions Application. The application is available online.
  
  
• Submit an official completed high school transcript or official GED scores.
  
  
• Submit THEA or ACCUPLACER scores. If you are THEA-exempt, you must submit official TAKS, ACT, or SAT scores as proof. If you are TAKS-exempt, you must take the math placement test before enrolling in math courses. All testing must be completed prior to your attending Apache Orientation. If you have any questions regarding testing, please call the TJC Testing Center at 903-510-2617.
  
  
• Apply for Orientation by mail, in person using an Orientation brochure, or online by clicking here. A $50 fee, per student, is required. If applying online, you must pay at the time of submission. Parent(s) choosing to stay on campus overnight must make arrangement with and separate payment to the TJC Residential Life & Housing office at 903–510–2345.
  
  
• Come to Apache Orientation.  Remember to bring your overnight items if you have reserved space to stay in a residence hall.
