Welcome! Bring knowledge and excitement with you and we will develop an understanding and appreciation for our nation’s history, even though mistakes and blunders of large and small proportions have been made. If you don’t like history now, maybe you will when you finish this course!
Teaching Philosophy:
My teaching philosophy is to tell the story of the United States as honestly and as heartfelt as can be told in hopes that students in their adult lives are inspired to search for solutions of national issues as well as participate on any level in the governing of their future.
Method of Evaluation of Students:
- Reading of Textbook is required
- 4 Major Exams and 1 Final Exam
- 1 major exam grade is dropped (but not the Final)
- 1 optional book report for extra credit
