TAMU Admission & Registration Procedures
Step 1: Print the TJC Admission Application; complete, sign and mail it to the address listed below in step 5. You can also submit an online application via the Texas Common Application. Be sure to have it submitted specifically to Tyler Junior College. TJC Admission Application (PDF) (This application requires the Adobe Acrobat plug-in.) Step 2: Obtain an official TAMU transcript. Step 3: Obtain a copy of your college entrance score report (TAAS, TAKS, THEA, TASP, ACT or SAT) from TAMU. Step 4: Print the TJC Registration Form; complete, sign and mail it to the address listed below. TJC/TAMU Registration Form (PDF) (This application requires the Adobe Acrobat plug-in.) Step 5: Print the Test Proctoring Form; complete, sign and mail it to the address listed below or you can fax it to: 903-510-2702, ATTN: Barbara Eitson Test Proctoring Form (PDF) Step 6: Mail the following original documents to the address listed below: Documents to include: Mailing Address: Stephanie Mayo Tyler Junior College, Admissions Office P.O. Box 9020 Tyler, TX 75711-9020 Please submit all the above documents at the same time. If necessary, preliminary copies of the above documents may be faxed to: Stephanie Mayo (TJC Admissions Office) @ 903-510-2161 but the Originals MUST also be mailed to the address listed in Step 6 above. As soon as you are notified via email that the registration process has been completed, you must complete payment arrangements through the TJC cashier's office: Toll Free: 1-800-687-5680, Ext. 2672 or Ext. 2673 Phone: 903-510-2672 or 903-510-2673 Cashier's Office Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00 am-6:00 pm Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm We accept Visa, Master Card and Discover cards for payment of these courses. You must provide the following information to the cashier: Student’s name and Apache ID number. Also, the name, account number and expiration date on credit card.
